Almost 10 months
My little girl is growing up!

Maggie is almost ten months. She weighs 18 lbs. She has two bottom teeth and can stand alone. She just started talking, saying "da-da-da-da." She has kept Joey's blue eyes and my bald head from when I was a baby. She loves to play with her cousin Carson.
We visited them in Baton Rouge and discoverd Maggie likes the train ride. I will admit this is an awful face she makes. She makes it all the time, I just had to share. She breathes in real heavy, gets very excited, and then she does this facial expression.

Maggie has given "the first time parents" a few scares this month.

Hope to update again at 11 months. Can't wait to spend a week with her for Thanksgiving break.
1. She ran 104 fever which was due to her ear infection (This is her 5th ear infection so she will be getting tubes). Papaw (my Dad) left Baton Rouge around 4 a.m. in the morning to come check on his little grandbaby. She missed out on Halloween, but we dressed her and brought her to her Mammy's (pre high fever).
2. She falls often since she is learning how to stand and formed a golf ball size knot on the back of her head. She was fine. She loves to play in her room.

3. This was the worst and I am little embarrassed to write, but a big warning to moms. Maggie fusses when I am buckling her. We go walking often in the stroller. I debated on buckling her in the stroller, then decided "she is not going to fall out because I am walking her and watching her." I got distracted and realized I was having a difficult time pushing the stroller. Praise the Lord I did not hurt her, but she had slid out of the stroller and my stroller was on top of her. She had no scratch or bruise, only a scared mom. Honey (my mom) bought her the cute outfit to keep her warm on our walks.
Maggie just started eating puffs. Today while I was feeding her baby food she thought my voice was so funny.

9 months
Time flies. I praise God for my little bundle of Joy!

Maggie still loves watching her movies. We probably spoil her with them, because we put them on anytime she fusses. It seems to calm her.
D
Maggie will be 9 months Tuesday! I am so excited because Maggie finally got two good nights of sleep *9.pm. until 8:30 a.m. She had an ear infection a couple of weeks agao and ever since then she has not been in a routine of sleeping through the night like she once did.
Maggie is still not eating table food yet, so I try to give her snacks in her mesher. I have to brave up and try to offer more. She has gagged several times we tried and I am so scared. She is probably going to have a jello cake for her first birthday.

My mom suprises me and keeps Maggie sometimes while I am at work. Maggie always wins when she is with Honey. She is in my pantry, where she should not be. Do you see the pitcher? Maggie is pulling up to everything and can stand alone for a few seconds.
I hope to update again in November when she is 10 months.

A Few Days with Honey :)
I had a great week with Honey. I am almost 8 months and loving life; especially when Honey comes to visit. She lets me do anything I want. I just discovered a box of Kleenox. It just keeps coming out!

I am so focused.

I am so focused.
How do you like my new shoes?

I also went to Brousse's and played the piano!

I helped Honey paint mommy's kitchen. Mommy wanted to repaint her kitchen. Honey suprised Mommy while mommy taught first graders! Mommy was so excited and thankful.

While mommy got her hair cut and Daddy went hunting, Honey dressed me in Camo that Aunt Amber bought me. I had the best time with Honey!

7 months- Back to Work
Well I just finished my first week of teaching. My mom came in to keep Maggie and Carly came in to be my personal secretary for two days in my classroom. My mom would text message pictures of Carson and Maggie; therefore, I felt like she was with me all day at school. Leaving Maggie was not as difficult as I thought because my mom was keeping her. I do have a new appreciation for working single moms with multiple children. After chasing around 19 six year olds, I had to find the energy to take care of Maggie. Which I must admit, she is not that difficult because she is easily entertained with her play yard, DVD, her high chair, stroller, and her jumperoo.
Maggie is 7 months.
I am eating 3 meals a day and making a complete mess. I average about 15 minutes to eat my fruits and veggies. I am very slow at eating. I fuss about 5-10 minutes before you put me to sleep for naps or at bedtime. I take 2-3 naps a day and sleep 9 1/2-11 hours at night.

Mommy still keeps me in bows. They are even getting bigger to hide my bald head.

I absolutely love playing with other babies, especially my cousin Carson. I get really excited.
I can also sit up now.

I am such a happy girl.

I also can laugh now. Daddy just tapped me on the head and I let loose. Please excuse my mommy's baby talk.

I am six months
Maggie is six months and changing. She also has done a few new things:
I love to eat everything in sight. I am eating the menu at Cracker Barrel.

I drove in the car for about seven hours to Ft.Worth and watched my Praise Baby DVD almost the entire time! Uncle Coy was very nice to feed me a few times. I am starting to only drink formula because mommy is stopping breastfeeding since she has to go back to work in a few weeks. I think mommy is sad about leaving me, but I can't wait to spend time with Mammy and Papa! (Daddy's Parents) They will let me do anything.
I went swimming! I enjoyed the pool!

I ate rice cereal for the first time and am doing pretty good with it!

Mommy also discovered I love feeding myself and I love having control of the bottle. Except she left me for a little while in my pack and play and I made a mess!

I went to HOT Six Flags! I did good the entire time, but got hot waiting in line for mom to get food. Thank goodness there were big fans with mist coming from them.
I attended my first wedding. My mommy's triplet cousin Brian got married. Well, actually I stayed in the cry room with Daddy, but I was good. I even got passed around at the reception and partied until 9:15 with the loud music!

Mommy puts me in a bow almost everyday and they don't bother me. Oh yea, I already know how to read :) What is for dinner tonight!

Why so sensitive?
It is a joke around our family how sensitive Maggie is to sound. If my father-in-law coughs or a dog barks, she begins to scream. Well, today I tried to dust bust and this is what happened. Sorry the picture is not clear.

She is always sucking on something. In the picture, it appears as though she is sucking on her bottom lip. She is about to be six months. I can't believe it. She still loves watching her baby DVD.

Maggie is also on the move. She is not really crawling, she just gets on all fours and then falls.
